This morning I woke up with zero pain in my lower back and hips.  It was a miracle after all I did this weekend.  Smooth taught me this little change in pelvis position during the last 2 miles of our run on Saturday, and since I have been very careful to hold that posture and think about it. It has been helpful not just to running, but my everyday sitting/walking too.  Those long runs become bainful toward the end, because I am holding, and pounding on bad hip positioning and posture.  It's such a small change, but  made a huge difference to my pain level and recovery. (Well, the chocolate milk really gets some credit).  I listened to music on my run, which was novel for me.  I got a new phone last week that has this feature called Slacker Radioon it.  It's kind of like Pandora.com and groups music you like in a never ending stream--like a personal DJ.  That was a fun discovery.  Acheiving negative splits was so easy today, I just felt better and better the more I ran.  I hated to quit.  But have to obey 'recovery' running if I want to keep pain/injury under control in the next 3 weeks before SG.

NICE JOB!!! I am so glad you were felling great, always nice when you do not want to stop (I think anyway, not sure I have ever been there!)

Okay, so I tried the bra. Here is some good news for my pocket book, mine works just as good! I did have less back fat issues with the Frog, BUT I had the same amount of problem with "skin" being pushed into my armpits as I do with mine. So, I can save money and stick with what I have!!! yeah.

Now, how do i get yours back to you? I can mail it if you PM me your address.

Sorry it's not the miracle I was hoping for you :( If I don't see you before St. George I'll find a way to get it back. Maybe I'll show up at JRP ? Let me know. If not-- maybe even in St. George. At least you know now if it works without spening the cash!

Oh, it works!!!! I will get one some day, but for now what I have will do (until I get some more $$$ to spend on running). I did like the no back fat, that was a change to see in the mirror! It flattens me a little more, too, but the bounce seemed about the same.

Here is the key to my problem, I think: I need to lose a little weight!

Great recovery run, I'm so glad there was no pain and you felt great! Chocolate milk is the answer to all our problems :)

You are tiny my friend. Do you have like dysmorphic disroder or what? Remember our shadows? Think on that for a while before you say that to me again missy! :) Feel free to use it till I see you again. I love it, and have 4--it's not the prettiest shape, but man do I love the compression! I'll see you again soon-- if not now, at SG.

RAD-- I agree chocolate milk IS the answer to all our problems. Who knew? Well, apparently Suzanna knew thank goodness.

I just need to lose weight in spots---like under my armpits, my back, and my baby belly roll (which I have given up on and made peace with!)

But thanks for calling me tiny! And you are funny, your shadow was quite a bit smaller. Did you order a skirt yet? What color are you going with? I love the charcoal and orange!! They have matching headbands, too, that do a great job of keeping your hair out of your face!!

From LuzyLew on Mon, Sep 14, 2009 at 15:56:46 from 208.187.197.42

I thought I was just getting the black one, but I could go for the grey/orange. I think matching gear is for the fast runners-- I like to draw as little attention to myself and my outfit as possible while running. I just like to finish...and get that medal at the end :)jk

From RAD on Mon, Sep 14, 2009 at 15:59:17 from 76.27.12.70

Luz, the skirts that have the colored shorts underneath really aren't that 'flashy'! Cute and not a lot of attention :) Besides...it may match your medal!

Why would we run if we did not look cute while doing it??? That, and the medal!

Here is the link to my bra, should you ever want to try one that buttons in the back!

Luz! YAY! What a great recovery run! So glad we found the cure-all elixor.

I am all teary-eyed reading about Aubry's kidney transplant. I hope she's doing well today. Please give your daughter a big hug from me. I would have loved to see her assuring Aubry at Kamp before her departure. What a sweet little friend.

K, I posted the info on the electrolyte strips for Catherine on my blog. Hope that helps.

Check out triks.com for running skirts too. I really like my CWX sports bra. I'm not as blessed with Kelli's feminine endowment though the little itty bit I do have still needs the support and CWX does a great job with its technical fabric. Have a GREAT week! :)
