Zen running, no Garmin.  Man it was breezy.  I stepped out the door in shorts and a long shirt, then back inside for a core shirt under the long shirt, and gloves, then back inside for running tights, then what the heck just go....sure glad I changed.  The temp dropped about 20 degrees.  I did love the wind though.  It's exciting to run when the trees are swaying around and the rush of the wind is louder than your thoughts.  I am still tired this week overall, but finished the run feeling cleansed by cool air and rushing wind.

I could hear the wind too. That sunny sky is deceiving. The temp really dropped but it's going up each day and by Sunday we'll have high in the 80's. That's Spring in Utah. Nice run. I always enjoy reading about your run, so descriptive and beautifully written. It makes me feel like I was running there with you.

I'll keep 'writing' my running so you can read and imagine that it's you out there. Keep that ITB under control and you'll be back at it before you know it.

Thanks! I hope to run WITH you one of these days! Meanwhile I'll run vicariously thru your blog! :)

I'm glad I wasn't outside in the cold and wind this morning! Our kcik-boxing class went outside to run 100 yds back and forth and it was COLD!! Granted all I had was a t-shirt and shorts.

Have you ever considered writing as a career? Seriously, sometimes I want your blog to be like 2 pages long so I can TOTALLY get lost in your run with you! -maybe you do write professionally or as a hobby and I'm an idiot, sorry if you do :)

Rachael, that is about the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. This blog allows me to combine my two most nerdy secrets online (I love to run, be outside, and I love to write). To combine the three provides me the most perfect therapeutic outlet imagineable. To read my inner-nerd and still be complimentary, is to be a true fastrunning friend :) That plus we can also actually run together sometimes!

I would run with you any day! -as long as you don't trick me into running an extra 5 :) Besides I honestly feel like I do everyday. You truly are an amazing writer. Keep it up for us!!
