I ran my first marathon as a teenager in 1981 with my Dad (The Coronado Marathon). Since then I've run St, George (3x) Utah Valley (3x) Ogden (1 full, 2 halves) Park City (1 x) Boston Marathon (1x) Washington DC (1x) Moab Half Marathon (6x) ,Ye Old Freedom Festival 5 & 10K (a million x) and many others.
But I'm all done with that now. I'm officially a jogger.
My dear LuzyLew..I thought of you as I ran past the back of your house today. What would you think about trying to run together a couple of times a week. I know your hip is bugging and it might not work but here's what I'm thinking. I could meet you at your house and then we could run together a little bit out and then a little bit back towards my house until you are done. I think it might be good for both of us to get back in shape and who knows ...maybe what your hip needs is just a little therapeutic conversation? It could work :) I could make you laugh enough that your hip started laughing too and then..it would get all better. Wanna try? Drop me a line and let me know what you think?
Yes. The answer is yes. Decide which days you can run in the morning and we'll do it. I am so sick of the treadmill. My only problem is I have to be back by 7:20. I'll call you tommorrow and we'll decide how to do it. I can't wait.
Wheeeeeeeeeee!! Yay!!!!! I'll be waiting by the phone. ;)
